Russell E. Koeller Family Farms Our operation is entirely in the Mississippi River Valley on the west side of Illinois. We are approximately 100 miles north of St. Louis, MO and 25 miles south of Quincy, IL. Across the river from us is the city that Mark Twain made famous, Hannibal, MO. Our farm headquarters and equipment repair shop are just one mile southeast of New Canton, IL.

This is a photo of our soybean harvest with a row-crop header on our combine. Notice the small orange dome centered above the cab. This is our GPS antenna which continuously receives signals from multiple satellites to record the exact position of the combine every second. We also record the yield and the moisture of the crop each second and transfer this information to our office computer and so we can produce maps that show a color coded image of yields throughout each field.
