It stands 365 feet (112 meters) high to the top of the blades. The blades have a diameter of 270 feet (83 meters). Its generating capacity is 1,650,000 watts! This is enough electricity to supply 500 homes! It just came into service in late June, 2005. Total cost of this unit was just over $2,100,000.00!
